Condition Report*: Diamonds:
Avg Color: G-H-I
Avg Clarity: VS
Shape(s): Full-Cut
Count: 1 - 25

Metals:
Gold

Overall Condition: Good
Condition Notes: Rendered as an open square, this brooch features a hollow tubular gold frame accented by a single approximately 4.25 mm round brilliant cut diamond of VS clarity. The minimalist design makes effective use of negative space, allowing the diamond to serve as the sole focal point against the polished gold framework.

Condition remains generally favorable. Minor surface scuffs and scratches are present throughout the high polish gold surfaces, consistent with prior wear. Upon close inspection with a loupe, the assembly seam near the diamond setting exhibits slight porosity associated with manufacture and construction. A small area of localized wear and discoloration is also visible adjacent to the diamond mounting. The diamond appears secure within its setting and remains free of noticeable damage with lovely clarity. The reverse is marked for 14k adjacent to a Whitehouse Bros. hallmark.
