    The Santos de Cartier link bracelet features two charms, accented by full-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 2.25 carats, set in 18k white gold, having black and red enamel accents, marked Cartier on bracelet and both charms. Gross weight 28.30 grams.

    Condition Notes: The Santos de Cartier bracelet is enhanced by a Cartier charm featuring the Ace of Hearts and a Cartier poker chip charm with a revolving center. The charms are marked with French hallmarks. The charms were added to the bracelet and clasps on the charms are soldered closed; the charms cannot be removed from the bracelet, unless repaired by a jeweler. Some of the red enamel has been repaired on the circular charm. The bracelet and both charms are marked 18k, having maker's marks for Cartier. The bracelet is numbered FO6664; the Ace of Hearts charm is marked 02404B and 41/70; the poker chip 02304B and 41/70.
    Cartier: In 1847 Louis-Francois Cartier founded his business, creating jewelry made of gold, awash with colorful enamels and glittering gemstones. This appealed to the French aristocracy. His son, Alfred joined him, and later grandsons Louis, Pierre, and Jacques, who took over during the Art Deco era. The company's distinctive Oriental-influenced style helped create a jewelry empire with worldwide locations. Joined by designer Jeanne Toussaint in 1933, Cartier created a range of vanity cases, desk sets and accessories. The firm continues to produce exquisite jewelry, watches, and objects d'art for a prestigious clientele under the umbrella of the Richemont Group.
