    The earrings feature marquise-shaped diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.00 carat, enhanced by full-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.40 carat, and baguette-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.20 carats, suspending pear-shaped diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.45 carats, set in platinum. Total diamond weight is approximately 4.05 carats. Gross weight 10.50 grams.

The brothers were master platinumsmiths who utilized only the finest diamonds and colored gems. The firm manufactured and supplied jewelry for the most prestigious American jewelry houses of the 1930s. Oscar Heyman & Brothers continues to be a self-contained, family owned and operated business where the old world techniques of tool making, fine platinum and gold metalsmithing in the production of each piece.
