    Art Deco Natural Pearl, Diamond, Platinum, White Gold Earrings
    The earrings feature natural pearls measuring 8.50 and 8.64 mm, enhanced by European, single and rose-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.00 carat, set in platinum, completed by 18k white gold screw backs, with Austrian and French hallmarks. A GIA Laboratory report # 1152958460, dated March 12, 2014, stating Natural Pearls, Saltwater, No Indications of Treatment, accompany the pearls. Gross weight 8.08 grams.

    The diamond earrings were owned by the wife of a prominent civil engineer with an international clientele in the early 1900's. The diamonds were worn for formal social occasions in the US and abroad. The owner had residences on Park Avenue and in New Canaan, Connecticut.
