Condition Notes: These earrings measure approximately 28.00 mm in diameter and center on raised golden motifs that appear to incorporate stylized script, possibly Arabic or another Eastern language. The motifs are framed by bezel set rubies, adding saturated contrast to the warm gold ground.
One ruby displays a minor chip within its channel setting, along with mild abrasions visible under loupe magnification. The reverse of each earring is marked 22, presumably indicating 22k gold. Evidence of prior wear is present, including contact marks consistent with the naturally soft nature of higher karat gold. Minor oxidation is also noted in the form of slight surface discoloration. The earrings are fitted with posts and omega clips for secure wear.
