    The suite includes a necklace and matching earrings featuring South Sea cultured pearls measuring 17.20 x 17.35 - 18.40 x 19.00 mm, enhanced by full-cut diamonds weighing a total of 2.51 carats, round-cut pink sapphires weighing a total of 14.32 carats, round-cut garnets weighing a total of 7.36 carats, and round-cut amethyst totaling 1.49 carats, set in 18k gold, maker's mark for Mikimoto. Gross weight 68.90 grams.

Pendant is marked 18KT, maker's mark for Mikimoto, French hallmark for 18k gold, chain is affixed to pendant; diamond total weight 1.41 ctw, Pink Sapphires 10.23 ctw, Garnets 4.76 ctw, Tsavorite Garnets 1.70 ctw, Amethyst 1.19 ctw. Earrings are completed by posts and clip backs; Diamond 1.10 ctw, Pink Sapphires 4.09 ctw, Tsavorite Garnets 0.90 ctw, Amethyst 0.30 ctw. Stone weights provided on accompanying copies of Certificates for Retail Replacement Valuation, dated June 15, 2016.
    Mikimoto: The name Mikimoto is synonymous with the highest quality Japanese cultured pearls available. Its founder, Kokichi Mikimoto, was an early pioneer in the concept of pearl farming. While he was not the first to invent the culturing process, Mikimoto did refine it, patenting his technique. He is recognized as the master of the culturing process. The need for culturing pearls arose out of the demise of the natural pearl market in 1930, when over-fishing and pollution devastated pearl beads. Today, cultured pearls are farmed worldwide with Japan, China, Australia and Thailand the leading producers.
