Gregory Saint-Thomas: Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Mr. Saint-Thomas studied and worked in France, Spain and Holland, where he taught and created jewelry and artwork for, among others, Holland's dowager Queen Juliana, for whom he was crown jeweler for several years. Mr. Saint-Thomas returned to Utah with his wife and daughter in 1978, where he continued to create bespoke jewelry. He was known for his stylized, textural human figurines, often deliberately distorted to advance mythical, mystical themes of land and sea.
