    The necklace is composed of cultured pearls ranging in size from 3.70 to 7.80 mm, forming four graduated strands, completed by a platinum clasp featuring European, single, triangle, and baguette-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 3.50 carats, marked Lacloche, Paris with French hallmarks. Gross weight 67.40 grams.

    Condition Notes: Tests as platinum and has French hallmarks. The tongue tests as 14k gold. Some diamonds fall in the VS clarity range. Each strand is knotted twice near the clasp.

    Lacloche: Brothers Jules, Jacques, Ferdinand and Leopold Lacloche founded Lacloche Frères, a Paris-based firm, in 1875. They manufactured vanity cases, boxes, and cigarette cases. The company peaked in the Art Deco era with their signature design, the jabot brooch, which became one of the most representational items of the 1920s-1930s
