Condition Notes: A sumptuous composition of luminous texture, this torsade necklace features 12 strands composed of 227 akoya cultured pearls—both bead and non-bead nucleated—verified by the accompanying GIA Pearl Identification Report. The pearls display a light cream body color with pink and green overtones, and a soft luster artfully draped in a twisting silhouette that creates volume without excess. The GIA report indicates that cultured akoya pearls are routinely processed. Securing the strands is an intricate 14k gold hidden box clasp, masterfully detailed and crowned with 10 additional pearls ranging from approximately 3.50 to 8.75 mm in size, varying from near-round to freeform in shape. The clasp itself becomes a sculptural focal point, offering a refined contrast to the smaller, uniform pearls of the torsade. This necklace is in very good condition, with thoughtful craftsmanship evident throughout.
