    The Beloved pendant-brooch-necklace features a carved mother-of pearl cameo, enhanced by full and single-cut diamonds, set in 14k gold and sterling silver, suspending from a strand of frosted rock crystal quartz beads, enhanced by cultured pearls measuring 5.50 mm, and 14k gold beads, completed by a 14k gold clasp, marked "ERTE'", number 5/250. Gross weight 59.30 grams.

    Notes: Pendant-Brooch is marked "CFA", "STERLING & 14k" and "5/250" on back and "ERTE'" on the mother-of-pearl carving. Pendant-brooch is accompanied by a separate decorative bale to append to rock crystal, cultured pearl and gold necklace. Clasp is marked "14k". Diamonds weigh a total of approximately 0.05 carat. Brooch is completed by a pinstem and catch.
    Erté: Known by the pseudonym Erté, Romain de Tirtoff (Nov. 23 1892 – Apr. 21 1990) was a Russian-born French artist and designer. He broke his family’s tradition of pursuing a career in the Russian Navy and moved to Paris as a young adult. His career in design promptly took off when he began working for Harper’s Bazaar. After decades of focusing on apparel, interior design, and posters for theatre, he expanded his work into the field of wearable art. The renewed interest in Art Deco in the sixties led to a career revival for Erte. Since his death in 1990, several well-known museums have continued to showcase his work. Today, the Erté name lives on through the jewelry line, with the motto “Art to Wear.”
