Condition Notes: This necklace features marquise-shaped rubies cascading down your neck. A halo of diamonds surrounds each marquise-shaped ruby, and the center drop ruby has a double-layer halo of diamonds. The necklace is set in platinum, enhancing the stones' dazzling brilliance.
The necklace features a hidden box clasp and two figure-eight safety latches. The reverse of the clasp is marked for platinum, "48.08ct", and "7.62ct", indicating the carat weights of the rubies and diamonds. Metal purity confirmed with XRF testing. Independent carat-weight estimations for the gemstones in this example align with that inscription, confirming the weight attribution for the piece.
