Condition Notes: South Sea cultured pearls are among the most coveted and valuable in the world, prized for their exceptional size, natural luster, and rarity. Cultivated primarily in the warm waters of Australia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, these pearls are produced by the Pinctada maxima oyster, the largest pearl-bearing mollusk.
This strand features gorgeous pearls notable for their uniformity and well-matched arrangement. The clasp mechanism consists of two lobster claw-style clasps, designed to connect either to the diamond-accented segment or to each other, allowing for versatile wear.
The pearls show surface blemishes consistent with previously owned jewelry, but remain in good overall condition.
