Description
Diamond, Platinum ComponentStones: Transitional and single-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.20 carats; baguette-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.95 carat
Metal: Platinum
Gross Weight: 10.10 grams
Dimensions: 1-11/16 inches x 15/16 inch
From the Collection of a Lady with an Eye for the Exceptional
Estimate: $1,000 - up.
Condition Report*:
Diamonds:
Avg Color: G-H-I
Avg Clarity: VS
Shape(s): Transitional, Single, and Baguette
Metals:
Platinum
Overall Condition: Very Good
Condition Notes: An Art Deco platinum diamond component of elongated, architectural form, defined by strong vertical taper and stepped openwork geometry. Three horizontal rows of baguette cut diamonds bridge the central channel, framed by polished platinum borders, while surrounding round brilliant and transitional cut diamonds create a continuous field of scintillation.
At present, the piece exists as a standalone component with no evident attachment mechanism. Based on construction, it may once have functioned as a bracelet link or element within a larger assembly. While not traditional, a discreet bail could be installed at the top, allowing the piece to be adapted for pendant wear if desired. Condition is very good overall. The diamonds display clean clarity and consistent color, free of significant chipping, with only minor surface wear observable under magnification.
