    Vintage Chalcedony and Gold Chatelaine
The chatelaine features an emerald-cut chalcedony measuring 19.00 x 17.50 mm, set in 14k gold, suspended from a 14k gold loop attached to a black ribbon, completed by a 10k gold loop, chain and clasp. Gross weight 32.80 grams.
    Length: 6 inches

    Condition Report*: Overall Condition: Good
Notes: Chatelaines were popular from the 17th to the early 20th century. They were worn by women as well as by men and often suspended a wide variety of accessories, both functional and decorative. The fob itself appears to be possibly missing a fineal or cap. Ribbon has wear that is consistant with age.
