    Padparadscha Sapphire, Diamond, Gold Ring
    The ring features an oval-shaped padparadscha sapphire measuring 14.04 x 9.25 x 8.27 mm and weighing 9.89 carats, enhanced by marquise-shaped diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.90 carat, accented by baguette-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.80 carat, set in 18k gold, having rhodium finished accents. A GIA Laboratory report #1132056255, dated February 11, 2011, stating Natural Padparadscha Sapphire, No Indications of Heating Treatment, accompanies the padparadscha sapphire. Total diamond weight approximately 1.70 carats. Gross weight 9.10 grams.

    ** Padparadscha sapphires are very rare and highly valued. It is a pinkish-orange variety of corundum, originally mined in Sri Lanka. The name derives from the Sinhalese word for lotus blossom. The rarest of all padparadschas is the totally natural variety, with no sign of treatment.
