    The Beloved pendant-brooch features carved mother-of-pearl atop a lapis lazuli tablet, enhanced by a cultured pearl measuring 6.45 mm, accented by inlaid mother-of-pearl and lapis lazuli, set in sterling silver, marked Erté. Gross weight 29.60 grams.

    Erté: Know by the pseudonym Erté, Romain de Tirtoff (Nov. 23 1892 – Apr. 21 1990) was a Russian-born French artist and designer. With an amazing creative output, Erté used an array of mediums including fashion, jewelry, graphic arts, costume, set design and interior décor. Today, the Erté name lives on through the jewelry line, with the motto “Art to Wear.”
