Description
Diamond, Gold Miniaudière, French, circa 1919The floral themed 18k yellow gold hinged miniaudière centers an oval-shaped cartouche, featuring a European, Swiss and single-cut diamond encrusted monogram, DWC, within a diamond studded frame, enhanced by mine-cut diamond thumbpushes; opening to reveal: a mirror with celluloid writing tablet reverse, calling card holder, and two accessories compartments; together with a removable pencil. The miniaudière is completed by a detachable 18k yellow gold openwork wristlet chain, fastened by spring ring clasps. Total diamond weight is approximately 2.00 carats. French hallmarks. Circa 1919. Gross weight 328.30 grams.
