Condition Notes: This attractive tanzanite measures 31.48 x 20.95 x 17.29 mm and exhibits pronounced pleochroism, revealing an unusual greenish component alongside the more familiar blues and violets associated with this mineral.
When viewed against a polarized light source such as a computer screen, this optical phenomenon becomes especially vivid. Subtle rotation of the stone can produce noticeable shifts in body color as different crystal axes interact with the polarized light, allowing flashes of blue, violet, and green to emerge in succession. This is a very nice example with very good polish throughout.
