Condition Notes: A gleaming testament to Cartier’s mastery of volume and radiance, this Nigeria diamond ring is impeccably crafted in 18k white gold and ablaze with pavé-set brilliant-cut diamonds set across a luxuriously wide eternity band. The honeycomb-style under-gallery provides architectural strength and visual lightness, allowing the diamonds to shimmer with exceptional brilliance. Elegantly marked along the outer edge with "Cartier 750 ©," a French eagle-head hallmark, ring size "55," and French maker’s mark "Ste EB" inside a lozenge with an ear of wheat—identified by the IAJA as the mark of Etablissements Edouard Blondeau, a noted Parisian workshop. The ring is in very good condition with minor surface scratches consistent with gentle wear and retains crisp hallmarks and strong structural integrity. Housed in a red Cartier box, this design embodies sophisticated opulence and the enduring savoir-faire of Cartier’s atelier.
Cartier: In 1847 Louis-Francois Cartier founded his business, creating jewelry made of gold, awash with colorful enamels and glittering gemstones. This appealed to the French aristocracy. His son, Alfred joined him, and later grandsons Louis, Pierre, and Jacques, who took over during the Art Deco era. The company's distinctive Oriental-influenced style helped create a jewelry empire with worldwide locations. Joined by designer Jeanne Toussaint in 1933, Cartier created a range of vanity cases, desk sets and accessories. The firm continues to produce exquisite jewelry, watches, and objects d'art for a prestigious clientele under the umbrella of the Richemont Group. Avg Color: D-E-F
