Condition Notes: This platinum ring centers a natural untreated Colombian emerald in an octagonal step cut, measuring 9.07 × 8.56 × 4.97 mm. Free of clarity enhancement this emerald is notably clean and highly desirable for both origin and quality. It is surrounded by a halo of old cut diamonds, including a prominent European cut stone measuring approximately 6.00 × 6.00 × 2.80 mm. The remaining stones are old mine cuts ranging from approximately 3.25 × 3.50 × 2.45 mm to 3.75 × 3.85 × 2.80 mm, all set in milgrain bordered bezels forming a floral motif. The emerald is slightly loose but remains secure within its setting. The shank is out of round, so the ring size is approximate. A shallow chip is visible on the European cut diamond, along with minor facet junction abrasions on other stones under magnification.
