Condition Notes: Forged within the tectonic collision zones of the Eastern Cordillera, where hydrothermal fluids once permeated carbon-rich shale host rock, Colombian emeralds remain the geological benchmark for deeply saturated green beryl. Centering a vivid green Colombian emerald measuring 11.64 x 9.03 x 6.62 mm, this ring is designed in a triplet style and framed by two remarkable bright diamonds on either side. This emerald is accompanied by a GIA report certifying it possesses two highly desirable designations: Colombian Origin and No Indications of Clarity Enhancement. There are no notable chips or abrasions on the crown or girdle of the emerald, and very minor abrasions are visible on the pavilion facet junctions.
The shank is stamped "4.72" and "1.63," referencing the emerald's and the diamond's stated weights. The accompanying GIA report and independent carat-weight estimations for this example align with that inscription, confirming the weight attribution for the piece.
