Description
Diamond, Enamel, Gold RingStones: Full-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.50 carat
Element: Black enamel
Metal: 18k gold
Gross Weight: 20.40 grams
Size: 6-3/4 (sizeable)
Property of a Beverly Hills Designer and Trailblazer
Estimate: $1,000 - up.
Condition Report*:
Diamonds:
Avg Color: G-H-I
Avg Clarity: VS
Shape(s): Full-Cut
Count: 51 - 75
Metals:
Gold
Overall Condition: Fair
Condition Notes: Boldly contoured, the ring presents a sculptural, shield like profile with a raised, domed top that tapers decisively toward the shank. Two parallel white gold diamond set panels define the upper surface, creating strong linear emphasis against the darker field beneath. Overall form strongly recalls David Webb design language, though no Webb signature or mark was identified during inspection. The high polish 18k gold shows moderate to heavy wear, visible as surface scratches and scuffs consistent with regular use.
Black enamel is applied across the upper body of the ring, with areas of loss and wear evident, most noticeably along the shoulders and edges as seen in the images. This enamel loss aligns with age and wear and does not detract from the underlying structure or diamond elements.
*Heritage Auctions strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
