Condition Notes: Very minor abrasions to the girdle region in some areas and two minute scratches to one crown facet are only readily seen within a microscope. Three crystal inclusions in a diagonal line match the grade setting inclusions upon the GIA diamond plot. The ring shank bears an Italian maker's mark < 685 AL > attributed to Prospero Cassina, located in the city of Valenza, in the province of Alessandria, Italy. The overall shank bears moderate markings from wear and lacks a modern rhodium coating.
