stating L color, SI1 clarity
Property of a New England Lady
Condition Report*:
Diamonds:
Avg Color: J-K-L
Avg Clarity: SI
Shape(s): Round Brilliant and Full-Cut
Count: 51 - 75
Certified Diamonds:
Stone: 1
Lab: GIA
Certification #: 1232837430
Carat: 5.67
Color: L
Clarity: SI1
Shape: Round Brilliant
Metals:
Gold
Overall Condition: Good
Condition Notes: Despite presenting with better apparent clarity than the GIA clarity grade might suggest, this diamond was assessed by GIA as an SI1 example, with the primary inclusions consisting of feathers concentrated along the periphery. The most prominent feather, likely the grade setting feature due to its relief, has been deliberately positioned beneath a prong, effectively limiting its visibility across the piece.
The ring will particularly appeal to those drawn to dramatic, high profile mountings, with an overall height measuring approximately 34.00 mm. The white gold displays a faint yellow tint, consistent with non rhodium or lightly rhodium finished material. Although no metal stamps are present, the alloy has been verified as 18k through XRF analysis and standard metal testing. Some smaller accent diamonds show minor chips within their settings, consistent with wear over time.
