Condition Notes: A distinctive ring featuring an emerald whose form reflects its history. Measuring approximately 11.00 x 8.75 x 4.00 mm, the stone was initially set into a standard double halo and likely sustained tip damage during the setting process. The design was subsequently reimagined with a graceful, floral-inspired setting that both protects the stone and discreetly shields the adjusted area. Skillful repolishing and the addition of new crown facets have transformed the emerald into a modified pear shape. The shank is marked for platinum, with the alloy verified via XRF analysis. Two diamonds show very minor, non-eye-visible chips along their girdles.
