Condition Notes: A striking platinum ring centering an approximately 8.16 x 5.45 x 3.60 mm oval-shaped sapphire of richly saturated blue hue, accompanied by a Gübelin Gemmological Report and an AGL report. The sapphire is set within a bold stepped mount framed by a dazzling array of full and single-cut diamonds, with a central row of graduated baguette-cut diamonds. The under-gallery is thoughtfully designed with openwork detailing, enhancing brilliance by allowing light to reflect freely through the stones. The platinum surfaces exhibit a soft patina with moderate abrasions consistent with age and use, while an 18k gold platform at the sizing area suggests prior resizing.
