Colored Gems:
Type(s): Green Beryl, Aquamarine, Ruby, Opal, and Sapphire
Shape(s): Cabochon, Marquise, and Pear
Count: 1 - 25
Avg Quality: Good
Metals:
Gold
Overall Condition: Good
Condition Notes: Centered by a substantial green beryl cabochon measuring approximately 25.75 x 23.00 x 14.75 mm, the ring presents a domed profile with soft translucency and natural internal features visible beneath a slightly worn surface. The reverse set aquamarines and rubies show minor chipping and abrasions consistent with their reverse set orientation. Opals are also present, some of which display microscopic chipping visible only under magnification. One side of the ring incorporates two glass cabochons.
All stones are set in 18k gold, while the shank itself is 14k gold, despite the absence of metal stamps. The alloy composition has been verified through XRF analysis.*Due to the complexity of the shank and integrated settings, any sizing should be undertaken with restraint, as radical size changes may not be accommodating to the design.
*Heritage Auctions strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
