Condition Notes: The largest opal in this selection measures approximately 10.00 x 8.00 x 6.15 mm. These are nice examples, showcasing an attractive play of color with a jelly like clarity. The inner shank is stamped for 18k, adhesive has been used to aid in setting as opals are fragile minerals. Additionally Opals are delicate and susceptible to scratches, cracks, and moisture. Ethiopian opals, with their higher water content, are especially sensitive to humidity and temperature changes. Occasional wear is recommended to preserve their beauty.
