    The ring, from the Florentine Collection, features an emerald-cut peridot measuring 12.00 x 10.00 x 6.25 mm and weighing approximately 6.50 carats, flanked by emerald-cut pink sapphires, set in 18k yellow gold, accented by full-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 0.30 carat, set in platinum. Hallmarked P C for Paolo Costagli. Gross weight 5.20 grams.

    Notes: Paolo Costagli is a contemporary jewelry designer based in New York. He is reknown for his selection of high quality gemstones and vibrantly colored designs. This ring has a retail value of $8,500.
    Paolo Costagli: Italian-native Paolo Costagli spent his early years admiring gemstones in jewelry store windows in Florence. He went on to complete the Graduate Gemologist program at the Gemological Institute of America. Costagli began his gem career in Colombia, digging in famous emerald mines and eventually becoming a Chief Buyer for a major emerald export business. After a few years, he moved to New York and began working on his own jewelry collection, marketing it though major auction houses. His trendy and wearable pieces are now sold at Bergdorf Goodman and other high-end jewelry stores in the U.S., as well as at his Madison Avenue boutique.
