Condition Notes: This classic 18k gold ring features a vibrant ruby at its center, accompanied by a GIA report, and surrounded by a halo of full-cut diamonds, with smaller full-cut diamonds trailing down the shank on either side. The ruby reveals natural inclusions, including iron staining, supporting the indication of no heat treatment, a desirable and rare trait in fine rubies. The high-polish metal is in excellent overall condition and verified as 18k gold by XRF testing.

No major chipping is observed. There are minute surface-reaching inclusions throughout the ruby, but they do not appear to impact the overall appearance or integrity of the stone. The inside of the shank is marked for 18k gold, with "Ru7.59ct" and "D3.93ct" indicating the carat weights of the ruby and diamonds. The accompanying GIA report and independent carat-weight estimations for this example align with that inscription, confirming the weight attribution for the piece.
