Condition Notes: This exceptional sapphire displays not only a exciting royal blue hue characteristic of fine Malagasy material but also an unusually vivid fluorescent response. One section of the stone reveals clear/light yellowish color zoning that, when exposed to UV light, ignites with an arresting orange fluorescence, while the surrounding solid blue areas remain inert. This contrast creates a rare and visually compelling optical effect rarely encountered in sapphires.
The presence of natural inclusions, combined with the absence of heat treatment, and unusual fluorescence supports the GRS conclusion of "No indications of thermal treatment."
The sapphire is majestically framed by a double diamond halo with interwoven diamond-set shoulders, providing a graceful yet substantial setting. All accent diamonds remain undamaged, and the platinum shank is stamped with the corresponding stone weights.
