Marya Dabrowski: Award winning jewelry designer Marya Dabrowski comes from a long line of artists, sculptors and woodcarvers. She is a self-taught jeweler who began silver-smithing at the age of twelve. Later, she went on to study at the Academy of Jewelry Arts in New York, concentrating in gold granulation, hand-cutting of gems, and cloisonne enameling. Marya's collections are notable for their unique juxtaposition of color. She is particularly inspired by the brilliant colors of little known gemstones such as Prehnite and Apatite. Intrigued by the techniques mastered in past millennia, Marya’s work features the ancient and intricate precision of gold granulation. She skillfully blends her own techniques with those handed down from the past, to create bright, signature jewelry in her own unique style.
