Condition Notes: A classic Victorian era mourning ring complete with custom dated inscription internally. The interior hallmarks include the Queen’s Head Duty Mark, the Crowned Leopard’s Head for the London Assay Office, the Crown and "18" mark denoting 18 karat gold, and the date letter "k." The inner shank bears a custom inscription reading "Robert Leader December 27th, 1861." Please note there is some enamel loss to the design.
