Overall Condition: Fair
Condition Notes: These old rings hold such power and symbolism. First up, is a ring designed with snakes. The entwined snakes symbolize the eternal love between two people. It tests as 18k gold and has partial English hallmarks. The metal shows minor porosity and evidence of sizing; weighing 5.20 grams. Wear consistent with age. It is lacking its two stones from their settings. The second, a fede ring (clasped hands) which displays the joining of hands of a couple at a marriage ceremony. The one presented here has a Netherland's hallmark on the outside of the shank. It tests as 22k gold and weighs 2.40 grams. *Size of fede ring is approximate as the shank is slightly out of round; measures 7-1/2 on mandrel and wears slightly larger. Metals tested with XRF technology.
