    Ancient Carnelian, Gold, Silver Jewelry
    The set includes: an Egyptian dated New Kingdom between XVIII - XIX Dynasties, circa 1550 - 1196 B.C., carved carnelian necklace in the form of lotus seeds, alternating with conical bead spacers and two navette-shaped carved cabochons, completed with 18k gold "S" hook and eye. Together with a pair of Roman, dated 2nd - 3rd century A.D., earrings of high karat gold and silver. Gross weight 33.70 grams.

    Silver Earrings: 1-1/4 inches x 1/2 inch

    Overall Condition: Good
    Condition Notes: Carnelian necklace in overall good condition considerate of age. Few lotus beads evidence of damage at base of carving. Necklace has been restrung. Both pair of earrings display heavy signs of age, though virtually fully intact. The items are in fitted cases, from Derek Content, London.
