    Diamond, Gold Convertible Jewelry Suite, Van Cleef & Arpels, French
    The cherry themed suite includes: one convertible necklace featuring a removable clip-brooch, enhanced by full-cut diamonds, set in 18k yellow gold; together with a matching pair of earrings, each completed by a clip back on the reverse. Total diamond weight for the suite is approximately 5.00 carats. The necklace is marked VCA B4563A5; each earring is marked VCA B3425 A13, both for Van Cleef & Arpels. French hallmarks. Gross weight for the suite is 80.50 grams.

    Notes: The cherries on each earring are designed to slightly swing. Necklace diamond weight is approximately 0.70 carat. Clip-brooch diamond weight is approximately 2.50 carats. Each earring diamond weight is approximately 0.90 carat.
    Van Cleef & Arpels: Parisian jeweler Alfred Van Cleef opened his salon in partnership with his brothers-in-law, Julien and Charles Arpels, in 1906. The company quickly earned a reputation for using only the highest quality colored gemstones. Their timeless designs employed elegant curves and clean fluid lines; capturing the essence of beauty in motion. In 1930, the firm patented the first minaudiere, a purse-like compartmentalized vanity case. In 1933, Van Cleef and Arpels introduced "invisible setting", or “mystery setting”. This innovative technique took the market by storm. The firm continues under the umbrella of the Richmont Group.
