Condition Notes: This pink diamond was purchased through Argyle Pink, a primary tender of pink diamonds specifically from the Argyle mine operated by Rio Tinto. The Argyle mine has since stopped mining for diamonds, making these diamonds increasingly sought after. Each individual pink and other colored diamonds sold by these sightholders is inscribed with its own unique report number. This ID or report number (114397) can be cross-referenced with the official site for proof of origin and access to the firm's unique grading system for their pinks and other colors. The color listed for this particular diamond is '7PR,' which stands for pink rosé, with 1PR being the most vivid of this coloration. A strong blue fluorescence is present. Based on a dense feather-like inclusion towards the periphery in face-up view and large crystal inclusions, this is an I1-I2 stone but appears clean to the naked eye.
