Condition Notes: A spectacular unmounted gem of remarkable pedigree, this electric blue Paraiba tourmaline hails from the famed copper-rich elbaite deposits of Brazil’s Paraiba state, as confirmed by an accompanying Prestige Gemstone Report from AGL dated May 6, 2025. Revered for their neon brilliance and scarcity, true Brazilian Paraiba tourmalines remain among the most sought-after colored gemstones in the world. This example dazzles with vivid saturation and luminous internal fire, exhibiting excellent color stability and a hue typically associated with low-temperature heating—a common and accepted practice for this gem type. The AGL report notes only insignificant to minor clarity enhancement, with few visible surface-reaching and internal inclusions, a rare quality in this gem class. Minute chips around the crown facets are observed under magnification but do not detract from its captivating presence.
