Overall Condition: Good
Condition Notes: Ethiopian sapphires, sourced from the Tigray region in northern Ethiopia, are basaltic and comparable to those from Madagascar. This example features majestic needle inclusions running diagonally through the stone, complemented by intact crystal inclusions. Vietnamese pink sapphires, renowned for their delicate hues ranging from soft pastel pinks to vibrant magentas, are primarily sourced from the Luc Yen region in northern Vietnam. This example displays strong pink color zoning on the flanks with a slightly lighter center. Unique green sapphires, found in Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Australia, and Thailand, owe their coloration to iron within the crystal structure. This example has been heated but boasts a nice size.
