Condition Notes: Born from the famed East African deposits straddling Tanzania and Kenya, this tsavorite garnet draws its identity from a region infamous for gemstones. Fashioned as a modified heart shaped fantasy cut, this tsavorite departs from conventional symmetry in favor of sculptural precision, resulting in a distinctly dramatic presence.
The cutting style is the defining feature here combined with color and clarity. Deeply angled facets and complex internal geometry act in concert to amplify light return, producing sharp flashes. The polish is top notch free of detracting blemishes, inclusions consist of low relief needles and classic tsavorite garnet finger print inclusions.
