    Condition Report*: Metals:

    Overall Condition: Good
Condition Notes: Accents of rose, green, and yellow gold were added to silver for a "mixed metals" effect in the Late Victorian period. The hinged bangles were often engraved and decorated with beaded edges. The beaded edge bangle is marked "STANDARD" and the other shows English hallmarks: G.W.D. Lion Passant, Chester Assay office, "t" date mark. The gold details test 10k. This mixed metal type of jewelry is often studied in the same theme of Japonaiserie-style adornment at a time when shakudo or shibuichi jewelry was popular.
