    Condition Notes: This exquisitely carved hardstone cameo depicts a gypsy woman's profile. She is seen wearing her finest jewels and a delicate headscarf. The pendant-brooch-locket features a collapsible bale, pinstem with catch, and glass covered locket compartment. It is hand engraved, April 15, 1875, Alice from Gillet. There is some loss to enamel evident based on age. A treasure, and gift of love, from a long gone era.
