Condition Notes: This limited edition Boucheron 150th Anniversary watch, formerly owned by Elizabeth Taylor, is a remarkable collector’s piece blending horological precision with glamorous provenance. The bold square case is adorned with full-cut diamonds and houses a brushed diamond-accented dial protected by synthetic sapphire crystals on both the front and the exhibition caseback, which reveals the fully operational 27-jewel automatic movement. The watch is presented in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of previous wear to the case and clasp. It is currently fitted with a genuine Boucheron white patent leather strap secured by an 18k gold deployant clasp, showing light signs of use. Included with the lot are the original Boucheron white satin strap, a modern replacement white satin strap, the original blue drawer-style Boucheron presentation box, and the white Boucheron outer box. A piece of exceptional craftsmanship and Hollywood legacy, this timepiece merges elegance, rarity, and history.

Boucheron: Frederic Boucheron (1830-1902) apprenticed under Jules Chaise prior to opening his first shop in 1858 at Palais Royale, the jeweler's area of Paris. The firm’s reputation for design, craftsmanship and the use of gemstones propelled it into the luxury market. By the mid 1860s, Boucheron opened a studio at the Place Vendome, still their corporate headquarters. The firm has participated in every style of contemporary jewelry. The business has been passed through the family and remains privately owned. In addition to Paris, the company operates boutiques in London, the Middle and Far East, Japan, and Moscow.
