Condition Report*: Metals:
Stainless Steel

Overall Condition: Very Good
Condition Notes: Chanel’s iconic J12 automatic chronograph marries sport functionality with haute couture flair, featuring a white ceramic case and bracelet renowned for their exceptional scratch resistance, colorfast quality, and lightweight strength—making ceramic an ideal material for both aesthetic longevity and everyday wear. The stainless steel bezel is luxuriously adorned with two rows of brilliant-cut diamonds, encircling a luminous white dial that houses three silver-tone subdials and a discreet date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock, all shielded by a synthetic sapphire crystal. While the crystal bears some light surface scratches and the steel bezel shows slightly more noticeable abrasions, the ceramic case and bracelet remain in superb condition with a crisp, polished finish. The band is secured by a spring-loaded double deployant clasp seamlessly integrated beneath ceramic links, offering a sleek, uninterrupted silhouette around the wrist. This timepiece exemplifies Chanel’s distinctive approach to elegance in motion, bringing high precision and contemporary luxury into perfect harmony.
Chanel Fine Jewelry: The iconic brand first dabbled in fine jewelry when Gabrielle Chanel unveiled her first High Jewelry Collection in diamonds and platinum in her private salons in Paris in 1932. Interest in designing jewelry with precious metals, gemstones and diamonds revived in 1993, when the brand officially launched the Chanel Fine Jewelry division. Between 1988 and 2007, Lorenz Baumer designed the High Jewelry and Fine Jewelry Collections. Moving forward, the Maison then developed its own jewelry studio, and still gathers inspiration from the very first sketches inspired by the world of Gabrielle Chanel.
