Condition Report*: Metals:
Gold

Overall Condition: Very Good
Condition Notes: This limited edition David Yurman Thoroughbred chronograph, number 42 of just 50 produced, is exemplary of the house’s refined engineering and stylistic clarity. The 18k gold case houses a precise 37-jewel ETA automatic chronograph movement, with a sharp black dial, all framed beneath a gently curved synthetic sapphire crystal for a sleek, streamlined silhouette. The watch is in very good overall condition, with minimal signs of prior wear, a slight crease in the leather strap, superficial scratches to the metal, and only light discoloration on the caseback—factors that do not detract from its exceptional presentation. The 18k gold deployant clasp with stainless steel folding mechanism offers secure and comfortable wear. Included with the timepiece is its original David Yurman leather box fitted with an Underwood Acorn model Rotobox modular winding unit, which remains fully functional and operates via battery or wall outlet. However, a power cable is not provided in this lot. Documentation includes the David Yurman Certificate of Origin & Warranty and a Certificate of Signature Authenticity, confirming its status as number 42 in this elite series of 50.
David Yurman: Sculptor David Yurman, along with his wife Sybil, a potter, formed what has become one of America’s quintessential American jewelry brands in 1980. Their contemporary style is relaxed and fashionable with an underlying interest in both the balance and harmony of design. The closeness of their personal and professional partnership is reflected in the sensuality of line and form, often displayed by their signature motif, the cable, which launched in 1982. Today, along with son Evan, David and Sybil Yurman continue to expand their jewelry and watch lines, offered in select locations across the U.S.
