C. H. Meylan: A well-regarded watch company based in Brassus, Switzerland and New York City, C. H. Meylan began manufacturing pocket and wristwatches in 1874. He won the prestigious Observatory Timing Competition in Geneva in 1894 with the World Time Watch. In 1957, the company was acquired by Baume & Mercier.
