Jim D'Amato (born 1978) is a contemporary artist based in New York, NY. His work is available in the Pierogi Gallery Flat Files, and has been exhibited internationally in galleries, museum stores, and alternative spaces. His work has been included in group exhibitions with Richard Serra, KAWS, H.R. Giger, and more, and is in numerous prominent private collections throughout the United States. Since 2010 he has worked with Art-o-Mat, a unique art organization committed to making contemporary art more accessible to the public.In 2015 he was featured on Forbes.com, and was included in Equity Gallery's inaugural exhibition in New York. Proceeds from this auction benefit The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary of Dallas. The Dallas Women's Auxiliary is the local expression of a world-wide movement that seeks spiritual redemption and social rehabilitation of those it serves. The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Programs and missions include: Adult Rehabilitation, Veterans Affairs Services, Prison Ministries, Elderly Services, Combating Human Trafficking, Missing Persons, Hunger Relief, Housing and Homeless Services, Christmas Assistance, Youth Camps & Recreation and Emergency Disaster Relief.

The online benefit auction will help raise funds in conjunction with The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary 2017 Fashion Show & Luncheon, 'Fashion is Art, You are the Canvas' on May 2, 2017.
