    Born in 1938 in Newark, New Jersey, Pat Steir is a painter and printmaker, a graduate from Pratt Institute who currently works in New York. Her work has been featured at the Whitney Museum, as well as MOMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her work has a minimalist nature. This particular piece, inspired and signed by Stein, has a background awash with silver crystals, with a minimalist, floral reminiscent pattern created in blue, teal and black crystals. Stunning in its simplicity, this piece represents a brief period of artist collaborations with Judith Leiber. This bag features a silver tone push clasp closure, and a silver tone shoulder chain that can be tucked in to wear this bag as a clutch. It is signed "Pat Steir" on the silver leather interior.

    This bag is in Excellent Condition. It is not missing any crystals and their is minimum scratching to the silver hardware. The bag comes with a loose print depicting the design translated onto the bag, as well as a frame with an inspirational pattern. The bag also comes with a black box and a lot card dated 1997.
