The Louis Vuitton Alma has a unique and captivating history. It is said that Coco Chanel carried only one bag that was not her own design, and it was supposedly the shape of an Alma, custom designed by Vuitton himself. Before becoming a staple in the Louis Vuitton permanent collection, the Alma started out as the Squire Bag in 1934, before being slightly redesigned into the Champs-Elysees bag. Its final shift was into the famed Alma Bag, named after the square where Avenue Montaigne meets the Seine. Its design is deeply rooted in the combination of structure and utility with grace and Art Deco architectural lines. This rich history, in turn, gives the Alma everlasting modernity as we see in so many recycled designs from the past. Python is a rare medium from Louis Vuitton, and it is absolutely breathtaking in this color and shape. This bag is done in noir python, featuring two rolled handles, gold tone brass hardware, one removable shoulder strap, and a zip closure. The interior is done in matching noir lambskin leather, featuring one slip pocket. This bag includes two keys, a lock, and a clochette.

This bag is in Excellent Condition. There is light scratching to the hardware, slight curling to the python in places, and light scratching to the interior leather. This bag includes a Louis Vuitton box, dustbag, and a care card.
