Louis Vuitton Monogram Coated Canvas Wardrobe Steamer Trunk, Circa Early Twentieth Century

22" Width x 44" Height x 21.5" Depth
This trunk is done in painted Monogram Coated Canvas, featuring wood and leather trim, brass and hardware, two leather side handles, five flip clasps, and one keylock mechanism. The interior is done in orange coated canvas, featuring a wardrobe hanging compartment with an extendable rack, three wooden hangers, an adjustable security bar, a small briefcase, and six pull-out drawers. There is a blue stencil that reads "1 G.W" to one side, "G.W" to the other, and a small name plate holder to the left.

This trunk shows signs of age and wear, such as tarnishing and scratching to the hardware, patina and chipping to the wood and leather trims, fading, scratching, and peeling to the coated canvas, as well as indentations and scuffs throughout. The interior shows some bubbling, tears, and darkening to the coated canvas, patina to the leather pulls on the drawers, as well as staining to the inside of the drawers.
